Good Trouble: An Improvised Exploration of Communal Living
Inspired by the Freeform series of the same name, Good Trouble explores the complicated relationships that form when people live together in intimate quarters. Set inside a communal residence, this theatrical improv long form moves through shared bedrooms, bathrooms, sitting rooms, and dining spaces—where privacy is limited, boundaries are tested, and everyone knows everyone else’s business.
The ensemble navigates friendships, romances, rivalries, secrets, and unexpected alliances as characters move throughout the house. Funny, heartfelt, and beautifully messy, Good Trouble reveals how the people we live with can become our greatest source of comfort, conflict, and change.
For Touring Ensembles: Karla can bring her own ensemble or direct and perform alongside 4–5 improvisers selected by Karla, the festival, or the theater.
