Pillow Talk Improv
A theatrical improv team rooted in intimacy, character, and grounded storytelling. Originally inspired by a bedroom-based deconstruction, their work centers on close relationships and emotionally charged moments, shaped by a full bed onstage. They've since focused on the medical drama Bedside Manor and now Our House. The ensemble brings that same depth and connection into a world of high stakes, urgency, and human complexity in every set. We brought on new members in May 2026.

Drama Queens Improv
Queen City Comedy’s travel team featuring standout talent from Dingle Drama Repertory Company, Pillow Talk Improv, and Neighborhood Improv. Known for bold, grounded, big-energy performances, this ensemble blends strong acting technique with fearless improvisation to create emotionally connected, story-driven work. Expect vivid characters, dynamic relationships, and scenes that build with intention—balancing humor, heart and "Good Trouble" while delivering shows that feel both immediate and fully realized. They've performed at the Dramatic Improv Festival in Chicago, Happy Valley XL Fest, The Asheville Improv Festival, Secret City Improv Comedy Festival, New South Comedy Festival, Royal Improv Festival and the first ImprovCon in August of 2026 in San Diego.
Cul-de-Sac Improv
A theatrical improv team exploring what happens behind closed doors—and what we choose to show the world. Performing their signature form, The Neighborhood, the ensemble moves between private and public moments, revealing the contrasts, secrets, and connections that shape everyday life. They've dabbled in a Special Sitcom Episode and now are focusing on a new POV format. Made up of improvisers from across Charlotte, this team brings a range of perspectives to create grounded, character-driven stories with humor and heart. We brought on new members in July 2026.
