What happens when the character you create starts with YOU?
In this character workshop, we’ll use your own personality, point of view, emotions, quirks and experiences as the starting point. Then we’ll push, heighten and play with those pieces to discover characters that feel specific, honest and completely different.
You don’t have to invent everything from scratch. Sometimes the best characters are already 80% of you.
Perfect for actors and improvisers with some performance or classroom experience.
Prerequisites:
At least one acting or improv class. Participants should come to the course with a willingness to take risks, dig into emotions, be vulnerability and an understanding that the scene work may include topics of a sensitive nature.

How many different characters can you create in 2.5 hours?
Move fast, make bold choices and build character after character using physicality, voice, point of view, emotion, status and more. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s getting out of your head, trusting your instincts and making a choice.
Some will be brilliant. Some will be ridiculous. All of them count.
Perfect for actors and improvisers with some performance or classroom experience.
