LABELED! A TOURING ENSEMBLE

Labeled: An Improvised Exploration
Improviser and storyteller Karla Dingle brings her unique voice and vision to the stage, leading an ensemble of talented local improvisers in a show that confronts and unpacks the labels that define us—whether we choose them, resist them, or have them thrust upon us.

In each performance, the cast will share real-life labels they have carried—words and identities that have shaped their experiences, challenged their self-perception, or become sources of empowerment. From there, the show unfolds in a series of unscripted scenes, improvised live and in the moment, inspired by these honest revelations.

But this isn’t just a show for the performers. Audience members are invited to participate by anonymously submitting their own labels, some of which may be explored onstage during the performance. With every contribution, the collective conversation deepens, making each night a one-of-a-kind experience shaped by those in the room. Poignant, raw, and often surprisingly funny, Labeled creates space for connection, reflection, and community. It asks the question: what does it mean to be seen, and who decides how we’re seen in the first place?

Join us for an evening of vulnerability, courage, and creativity — and discover the stories that lie beneath the labels we all wear.
